Check-In and Check-Out at Piz Palü
The rooms are ready for you to move in from around 1.30 pm till about 8 pm. In any case it is possible for yout to store your luggage at our place if your room isn’t available.
On the day of departure the room should be returned and ready for cleaning till 9.30 am.
If you have a different arrival or departure schedule please contact us and we will find a mutually acceptable solution.
Detailed Description/Entrance of Mathon
When you enter Mathon please stay on the main road (Silvrettastraße) till the curch appears (on the right side). From there 50 meters straight on to the next junction (Point P). At point P you also find the bus stop “Mathon West” from which the ski-bus service runs every few minutes and you get off if you travel by bus. Here you turn right into the next side street (Kirchengasse). At the next crossroad turn left into “Mathoner Straße”. 40 – 50 meters further you see the “Hotel Föhre” and “Sport Wolfart”. Between these two houses you’ll find our place “Piz Palü“, Mathoner Straße 60.
Arrival by Car
Germany:
- Via Fernpass / Imst / Landeck – Exit Pians-Paznaun – keep on driving on the highway B188 for about 24 km (28 km) towards Ischgl (Mathon).
- Via Kufstein / Inntal motorway (A12) / Landeck – Exit Pians-Paznaun – keep on driving on the highway B188 for about 24 km (28 km) towards Ischgl (Mathon).
- Via Bodensee / Feldkirch / Arlberg (S16) / Exit Pians-Paznaun – keep on driving on the highway B188 for about 24 km (28 km) towards Ischgl (Mathon).
- In summer you also have the option to take the Silvretta high alpine road to Ischgl.
Italy:
- Via Brenner / Inntal motorway (A12) / Landeck – Exit Pians-Paznaun – keep on driving on the highway B188 for about 24 km (28 km) towards Ischgl (Mathon).
- Via Reschenpass / Nauders / Landeck – Exit Pians-Paznaun – keep on driving on the highway B188 for about 24 km (28 km) towards Ischgl (Mathon).
Schwitzerland:
- Via Feldkirch / Arlberg (S16) – Exit Pians-Paznaun – keep on driving on the highway B188 for about 24 km (28 km) towards Ischgl (Mathon).
- In summer you also have the option to take the Silvretta high alpine road to Ischgl.
Arrival by Train
You take the train to “Landeck-Zams” and continue your journey via bus towards “Ischgl/Mathon”. The bus 260 runs every hour (bus time table). You get off at the bus stop “Mathon West” which is located at point P. You find the directions and more in the above detailed description.
As an alternative you could order a taxi. The easiest and most convenient way is if you book a taxi in advance (online or via phone) and the local driver waits for you at the train station. Landeck is about 34 km away from Mathon.
Arrival by Plane
Airport Munich: about 300 km to Mathon
Airport Salzburg: about 300 km to Mathon
Airport Innsbruck: about 100 km to Mathon
From the airport you can take the train to Landeck-Zams and then the bus or respectively a taxi to Mathon. Alternatively you can book a taxi to collect you from the airport and get directly to Mathon.
